It’s 2026, and the world we live in is pretty bonkers more often than not these days.
Taking care of our mental health, talking about it, and making it feel a little less weird to say, “Yep, I was anxious today,” feels more important than ever.
Which is why I love these videos from @cornwellmed.
He’s a family medicine resident, an avid crafter, and human to a boxer/beagle rescue who makes frequent appearances in his videos.
One of their recurring bits is “What made us anxious today?”
He shares what made him anxious. His pup shares what made them anxious. Everybody gets a little treat. We all feel slightly less alone.
It’s funny and adorable, but there’s something genuinely awesome underneath it too.
Anxiety doesn’t have to be whispered about. Mental health doesn’t have to become a giant solemn announcement every time we mention it. Sometimes it can just be:
This made me anxious today.
Here’s what made the dog anxious.
See you tomorrow.
I love that.
Mental health is awesome. Talking about it is awesome. Dogs, as usual, are carrying the team.
